@Kaneabel: Actually no, I dint add any additional lights the sun was actually bright enough that it was lighting the skull from the back. The eyes in the skull had a yellow tint to it, I think it was meant to glow in the dark, so that might have helped! ;) Thanks for your wonderful comment!
